Little Flippers Child Care


Hunny don't forget the kids! Roots Aquatics and Fitness Center’s childcare is a babysitting service for the convenience of parents who remain in the club while their child(ren) are in our care. We are here to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment for your children while you work out. A variety of children’s activities are offered including: games, toys, art projects and more! 1st child, $20/mo Additonal child(ren), $10/mo.




Family Open Swim


During Family Open Swim, the swimming pools are open to Roots Aquatics and Fitness Center’s members' children or students enrolled in swim classes. This is a time for swimmers to come play, practice, show off, and enjoy our amazing heated pools! Kick-boards, noodles, and toys are available to enjoy. Drop the kids off if they are 6+ and can pass our safety swim test! Please check out our pool schedule for availability! F.I.T Mix (Fitness Interval Training)


We want to get you fit, get you healthy, challenge your mind, challenge your body, and most importantly MAKE FITNESS FUN! The class mixes traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with interval and strength training. Instructors may incorporate various training protocols including HIIT, TABATA and Boot Camp. This class provides options to cater to all fitness levels.




HIIT STRONG


This class combines high intensity interval training with the science of Synced Music Motivation. In every class, music and moves sync in a way that pushes you past your perceived limits, to reach your fitness goals faster.




STRENGTH MIX


A full body work out using weights, barbells, TRX, and Bodyweight. Includes isolation and compound exercises to define, sculpt and build lean muscle. Modifications and challenges will be offered to make the class appropriate for all levels.




TREAD N SHRED*


Keep your heart rate racing with short segments on the treadmill with sprints, hills, running and jogging. We then combine that on the floor with plyometrics, dumbbell work, core strengthening and more that will render your body tapped out but FIT beyond belief! *$12.99/month *$7.00 drop in




TRfleX


This class is focused around our TRX suspension body weight training equipment. This class is for all fitness levels and combines strength, cardio and core to challenge your body in a different way that it is used to being challenged. Classes will include various exercises with different circuit style formats on and off the TRX Training System.




YOGA


Our Yoga programming is designed to allow each individual to become more present, embodied, and enjoy more freedom in their lives. The room will transform to a relaxing oasis where you can escape from the stresses of everyday life, and feel more at peace throughout your day. Yoga is for all levels, and anyone interested in decreasing stress, strengthening muscles, and improving flexibility.




ZUMBA™


Ditch the workout and join the party! This fun and easy to follow cardio dance class combines high-energy and motivating international music with unique moves and combinations that make you feel like you are partying on the dance floor. Just feel the music and sweat the pounds off.




PILATES FUSION


Fusing fitness, yoga, Pilates, and ballet inspired movements, experience a low impact, variable intensity workout. Focus on mobility, stability, and core off the floor. No Shoes or equipment needed! All levels welcome.




BODYCOMBAT™


During the ultimate warrior workout, you will strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. This call will burn on average over 700 calories in 60 mintues. No equipment needed, just bring a towl, a water bottle and your inner warrior!

FOREVER FIT


In order to stay forever fit strengthening muscles and increasing range of movement for daily life activities is essential. Participants in this class will use hand-held weights, steps and weighted bars to increase strength, mobility and agility. This is a great class to try if you are new to group fitness and one that will keep you coming back for more.




BODYPUMP™


Get lifting with BODYPUMP™ and you’ll tone and shape your entire body without adding bulky muscle in 60 minutes. This full body workout will utilize light to moderate weights with lots of repetition. Instructors will guide you through scientifically proven moves and pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music!





H20 Go!

These beginner through intermediate classes are taught by AEA Training Specialists and is designed to target muscles, equipment and movement; techniques for altering intensity in an easy to understand format.  Exercising in the water conditions the heart, lungs and muscles while protecting your joints, burning calories and having fun.  Water exercises can help control blood pressure, relieve stress and improve balance and flexibility.  Beginner, intermediate and advanced exercisers are all welcome to attend.  All participants are encouraged to work at a level that matches his or her abilities.  No swimming skills are needed.

Aqua Zumba

Splash your way into shape with an invigorating low-impact aquatic exercise. Known as the Zumba "pool party", the Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of a refreshing workout. Integrating the Zumba philosophy with traditional aquatic fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into workout that's cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.
