Little Flippers Child Care

TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19 Hunny don't forget the kids! Roots Aquatics and Fitness Center’s childcare is a babysitting service for the convenience of parents who remain in the club while their child(ren) are in our care. We are here to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment for your children while you work out. A variety of children’s activities are offered including: games, toys, art projects and more! 1st child, $20/mo Additonal child(ren), $10/mo.

Family Open Swim

During Family Open Swim, the swimming pools are open to Roots Aquatics and Fitness Center’s members' children or students enrolled in swim classes. This is a time for swimmers to come play, practice, show off, and enjoy our amazing heated pools! Kick-boards, noodles, and toys are available to enjoy. Drop the kids off if they are 6+ and can pass our safety swim test! Please check out our pool schedule for availability! Family Swim can be added onto fitness memberships or active swim lessons. 1st child, $20/mo Additonal child(ren), $10/mo.


H20 Go!

These beginner through intermediate classes are taught by AEA Training Specialists and is designed to target muscles, equipment and movement; techniques for altering intensity in an easy to understand format.  Exercising in the water conditions the heart, lungs and muscles while protecting your joints, burning calories and having fun.  Water exercises can help control blood pressure, relieve stress and improve balance and flexibility.  Beginner, intermediate and advanced exercisers are all welcome to attend.  All participants are encouraged to work at a level that matches his or her abilities.  No swimming skills are needed.

Aqua Zumba

Splash your way into shape with an invigorating low-impact aquatic exercise. Known as the Zumba "pool party", the Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of a refreshing workout. Integrating the Zumba philosophy with traditional aquatic fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into workout that's cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.

AMRAP stands for "as many reps as possible." AMRAP Blast is a time-based training circuit guaranteed to push you towards your maximum potential and leave you with nothing left in the tank! In AMRAP Blast, you aim to fit in as many cycles of a circuit as possible; the faster you get through the reps of each exercise, the more times you will complete the entire circuit.


No barre? No problem? Calling all barre-tenders! This class lengthens, strengthens AND rocks the cardio component often missing from barre classes. Using a variety of equipment to keep things fresh, safe and challenging, this class builds muscular endurance while strengthening all the muscles that support your spine and pelvis.


Our Boot camps are designed for MAXIMUM calorie burn in the shortest amount of time. We want to get you fit, get you healthy, challenge your mind, challenge your body, and most importantly MAKE FITNESS FUN! The class mixes traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with interval an strength training. 


Forever Fit focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing range of movement for daily life activities. Participants will use hand-held weights, steps, weighted bars, and straps to assist with mobility and agility.


This powerful metabolic training class fuses body weight training exercises with cardio bursts to ensure the maximum fat and calorie burning experience.  In this total body workout, participants will utilize a variety of fitness types, including kick boxing and intervals to challenge their endurance and test their power.


Short on time, but want to still get a great well-rounded workout in? HIIT IT! is perfect for you! This 45-minute class will alternate between high intensity cardio/strength bursts and periods of recovery, encourage continued calorie burn post workout. 


Get ready to train your bottom half! With a perfect blend of cardio and strength, your legs will be your strongest machine! Feel the rush from head to toe but let the heat sizzle in your feet!


This is not your average strength class. Expect lower body & core training complexes where barbells, dumbbells, body weight and plyometric exercises are blended because one size does NOT fit all. Expect an elevated heart rate,  regressions & progressions. But don’t expect it to be easy.  All levels welcome!


This class combines high intensity interval training with the science of Synced Music Motivation. In every class, music and moves sync in a way that pushes you past your perceived limits, to reach your fitness goals faster.


Tone and shape your entire body without the bulk. This full body workout will utilize light to moderate weights with lots of repetition through our signature tempo training to the music.

Tread N Shred

Keep your heart rate racing with short segments on the treadmill with sprints, hills, running and jogging. We then combine that on the floor with plyometrics, dumbbell work, core strengthening and more that will render your body tapped out but FIT beyond belief!

TRX with a Punch

A high energy circuit training workout utilizing a combination of TRX, Boxing, Strength and Agility all in one. The constant changes in this training keeps the body guessing allowing MAX calorie burning. This dynamic workout will bring your fitness to the next level by improving strength, flexibility and endurance. 


This class is focused around our TRX suspension body weight training equipment.  This class is for all fitness levels and combines strength, cardio and core to challenge your body in a different way that it is used to being challenged.  Classes will include various exercises with different circuit style formats on and off the TRX Training System.
